2006 Nederland Heritage Festival
On Saturday, Mark was assigned to cover the Nederland Heritage Festival in Nederland, Texas. So, I went with him to cover the festival for this blog. The best things about festivals are food, rides and vendor shops. This time I focused on photographing vendors.

Michael's Scrollsaw and Fretwork had a gorgeous display of handmade woodwork in his booth. Owner Michael Campise is a retired military member who started the business in Groves, Texas after his retirement. The above two photographs are examples of his handmade woodwork.

Wakay Cacuango from Nashville, Tenn. played beautiful music on flute for the audience. He also sold music instruments, CDs, t-shirts and other American Indian items. The two photos above were taking at his booth.
